On July 13, 2017, ORAL (International Lighting Designers Association) held its annual summer event in London, co-sponsored by OSRAM and their business partner France Baal Skyflower, a world leader in soft film ceilings. BDP Architects in London, The Fashion magazine’s London editorial office, and Alexander McQueen's design studio were also represented. Over 130 architectural and lighting designers attended. The haute couture metallic butterfly dress showcased at this event featured an illuminated OSRAM LINEARlight Flex LED strip.
