Globally, governments are recognizing AI's potential to reshape economies and societies. In China, AI has become a national priority. Xiang Yang, a senior AI analyst, predicted the Chinese AI market would surpass 40 billion yuan by 2018, growing at a compound annual rate of 25.8%.
