The topic of "Common Technology Innovation Platform for Heavy-duty CNC Machines" Passes the National Acceptance Test

Recently, the National Major Special Project "Common Technology Innovation Platform for Heavy-duty CNC Machines," in which Qizhong CNC Equipment Co., Ltd. participated, has successfully passed the national acceptance. This achievement marks a significant milestone in China's efforts to enhance its capabilities in heavy-duty CNC technology. The project was jointly carried out by four leading large-scale equipment manufacturers and five top universities across China. It aimed to address the urgent need for improved independent technological innovation in the heavy-duty CNC machine tool industry. By focusing on key common technologies, the project sought to build a robust innovation platform that supports the development of advanced CNC machines. The research covered critical areas such as foundation design, static pressure systems, precision engineering, thermal deformation control, reliability, and servo drive technologies. These advancements are gradually being adopted by the heavy machine tool industry, offering vital technical support for the independent development of high-quality CNC products in China. Qizhong CNC, in collaboration with Harbin Institute of Technology, took the lead in constructing a "Heavy-duty CNC Machine Tool Precision Test Platform." The team investigated the impact of large-scale measurement and gravitational fields on machine accuracy. Through modeling, analysis, and experimental validation, they developed a comprehensive testing method for large-scale precision in heavy machine tools. This led to the improvement of test specifications and standards for heavy-duty CNC machines. As part of this effort, three patent applications were submitted, and four new products with independent intellectual property rights were developed. Additionally, four precision test stands were designed and built, creating a solid research environment for precision testing. The establishment of the heavy-duty CNC precision platform is a crucial component of the broader innovation capability platform. It addresses fundamental challenges in precision modeling, testing, and evaluation, providing advanced core testing methods for independent innovation. These developments will significantly enhance the overall precision and quality of heavy-duty CNC machines in China, reducing reliance on imported high-precision equipment and saving substantial foreign exchange. Ultimately, this project brings considerable economic benefits and strengthens China’s position in the global CNC machine tool industry.
