In fact, the CBRS band recently released by the United States will be an important frequency band for the development of 5G Small Cell. At present, most of the spectrum used in mobile communication is bidding. The licensing fee is quite expensive. Therefore, the entire telecom industry is basically based on large operators. However, the CBRS band is registered and can be used by any registered operator. Small and medium-sized telecom operators have more room to play. For these smaller telecom operators, Small Cell is naturally a more affordable option than a large base station.

In the future, building a Small Cell in Taiwan will no longer have to apply for a license. Liao Qingbo believes that in the past, NCC used the Small Cell as a large base station to manage it. The application process was very cumbersome. After the regulation was relaxed, it would be of great help to the development of Taiwan's small base stations.
