In the past two years, Chenzhou City has made significant progress in integrating information technology with industrialization. The city has focused on smart robotics, building intelligent workshops and production lines, and enhancing corporate innovation capabilities. This initiative has accelerated the development of smart manufacturing towns, helping to boost the real economy and drive sustainable growth.
At the welding workshop of Zhangzhou Kangliyuan Fitness Equipment Co., Ltd., a semi-automatic production line is equipped with over 20 robots that weld various components with precision. According to Liu Li, a worker at the welding workshop, one robot can handle the workload of six or seven people, and the quality of their welding is more accurate and visually appealing than manual work.
In September 2015, Golden Cat Robots established its presence in Zhangzhou. Soon after, Kangliyuan customized a fully automated intelligent production line, successfully transforming from traditional manufacturing to smart manufacturing. This move paved the way for a new model known as the "Chuzhou Alternative."
Li Huiliang, CEO of Jiangsu Kangliyuan Fitness Equipment Co., Ltd., pioneered the first smart production line in China. Through efforts in equipment automation, management informatization, e-commerce sales, and brand development, the company has earned recognition, including China's well-known trademarks, national high-tech enterprise status, and a state-level enterprise technology center.
Guo Xiaofei, deputy general manager of Jiangsu Golden Cat Robot, explained that the concept of replacing human labor with machines has been gradually adopted by various business units. This not only addresses key operational challenges but also helps reduce costs and employment issues.
Beyond Kangliyuan, Golden Cat Robots and its control systems have also been implemented in local metal processing companies and industrial plants around Xuzhou. Guo Xiaofei emphasized that the development of industrial robots aligns with national strategies, driven by strong market demand. To date, the company has served over 60 clients, with more than a dozen currently in negotiations.
With the introduction of policies such as "Made in China 2025" and the "Robot Industry Development Plan," the robot industry is entering a new phase of growth. Chenzhou City is seizing this opportunity, accelerating the construction of smart manufacturing towns and enhancing enterprise innovation. This effort aims to stimulate the rapid growth of emerging industries, supported by major projects and high-tech initiatives, driving higher-quality and more efficient economic development.
Wei Dongsheng, deputy director of the Wuzhou High-tech Zone Management Committee, stated that the zone has launched multiple smart manufacturing 2025 projects. Led by Jincat Robotics, the focus is on building smart towns and guiding all park enterprises toward smart, advanced, and high-end development.
