This advanced connector features dual tilt terminals that enhance connection stability and an ultra-slim design that supports more compact device development. It is well-suited for smartphones, tablets, personal GPS units, laptops, ultrabooks, and server applications.
A 2011 market research by GfK highlighted the rapid growth of multi-SIM applications, particularly in emerging markets. The report emphasized that multi-SIM solutions offer users greater flexibility, allowing them to choose different tariff plans based on time of day and usage patterns.

The connector features a smooth push mechanism, making it easier for users to insert and remove SIM cards. Its dual-tilt terminal design prevents the wedge terminal from catching on the lower casing, ensuring better contact performance during drop tests. Additionally, its ultra-slim profile—just 1.4 mm in height—makes it 25% thinner than previous models, helping reduce the overall size of the device.
To enhance user experience, the connector includes a built-in hot-swap detection switch, allowing compatibility with all types of SIM cards. The half-moon opening improves electromagnetic shielding, while the large open space in front of the housing reduces the risk of finger cuts when handling the card.
Compliant with industry standards such as ETSI, ISO, and GSM, the new TE push-pull SIM card connector sets a new benchmark for performance, safety, and user convenience in mobile and computing devices.
