Survey results show tablet users are reluctant to "buy" news

Survey results show tablet users are reluctant to "buy" news The United States Pew Research Center released the survey results on the 25th, showing that access to news is one of the main uses of tablet computers, and most users are reluctant to pay for the use of tablet computers to read news.

The joint survey of the journalism excellence project of the Pew Research Center and the British Economist Press Group targeted 1,159 tablet users in the United States from July 15th to July 30th, with data errors not exceeding 3.5%.

The results showed that 53% of the respondents obtained news via iPads and other tablets, 23% subscribed to electronic newspapers or magazines, and only 14% had paid for news content directly.

Of tablet users who have never paid for reading news, 21% of respondents said they would pay $5 a month if they had to pay.

Investigators believe that if the news agency finds a better way, the Tablet PC news consumer market will still have a "good prospect."
