The Patent Litigation between Yiguang and Nichia (No. 089,036) was ruled by Taiwan’s Supreme Administrative Court before Yiguang’s success and will reject the appeal of the Asiana case. This case was determined by the Intellectual Property Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. After the verdict of the Supreme Administrative Court is received, the patent right will be revoked on the date of cancellation.
The patent dispute between Yew Kwong and Nissan has been litigated for many years. Since 2006, the lawsuit between Everlight and Japan Asia has continued. Yiguang was once defeated and was sentenced to compensate Japan and Asia for NT$8,000.
