Yesterday morning, with the Huizhou Intermediate People's Court publicly hearing the defendant Wu Changjiang suspected of misappropriating funds and the crime of occupational embezzlement, the silence was officially broken. Nandu reporter learned from the indictment that Wu Changjiang was accused of misappropriating more than 900 million yuan of funds and using his position to invade the company's 13.7 million yuan and other "multiple crimes." However, as of press time yesterday, the case is still under trial and it is expected that the trial will take two days to complete. On the same day, Wu Changjiang said that he did not plead guilty.
A large number of incidents involving a large amount of involvement
It was nearly a year and eight months since Wu Changjiang was arrested and officially tried yesterday. According to the indictment of yesterday's trial, from 2012 to August 2014, Wu Changjiang was the president of NVC Holdings, and the chairman of Hong Kong NVC and NVC China was accused of “N sinâ€.
First of all, Wu Changjiang took advantage of his position and, without the authorization of NVC Holdings and the resolution of the board of directors of NVC China, the individual decided to convert the liquidity deposits of NVC China's three banks into a deposit. Wu Changjiang, through his own actual control of a number of companies as the main body of the loan, using the NVC China company's margin as a guarantee, in the absence of actual transactions, the three banks have successively applied for a working capital loan of 901 million yuan.
NVC China is located in Chongqing, controlled by Hong Kong NVC, and Hong Kong NVC is wholly-owned by WorldCom Investment. In fact, the controller of each level is Wu Changjiang.
The indictment also pointed out that Wu Changjiang’s many incidents involving a large amount of cases. Among them, NVC China has issued a guarantee deposit of RMB 923 million. The loan was used by the defendant Wu Changjiang for the construction of the “NVC Building†project of Chongqing Promise Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. However, Wu Changjiang was unable to repay the above loans, causing the bank to forcibly deduct the RMB 556 million guarantee from NVC China, causing huge losses for the company.
In addition, Wu Changjiang was accused of two job encroachments amounting to 13.7 million yuan in 2014 and 2011, as well as profit-making through the sale of waste. These allegations are also basically consistent with the NVC lighting official Weibo publicly accused Wu Changjiang of the matter in 2015.
However, the reporter learned that due to the huge amount involved in the case, there are many related issues. As of press time, the case has not been completed.
Yesterday, together with Wu Changjiang, Chen Yan, assistant to the chairman of NVC Lighting. Wu Changjiang was wearing a gray T-shirt and black shorts when he entered the courtroom yesterday. He was calm, but Chen Yan’s relatives cried during the trial. On the same day, Wu Changjiang said that he did not plead guilty. Yesterday, NVC lighting did not publicly respond to the incident.
In the first half of the year, NVC net profit exceeded 90 million yuan
Wu Changjiang is the founder of NVC Lighting, and Derun Haoda has acquired NVC as the largest shareholder, and Wu Changjiang’s fate has changed.
