Although Google Glass has not been accepted by the mainstream market, neither Google nor other companies have given up the type of equipment such as smart glasses. Recently, a pair of glasses that can be used as a fitness tracker appeared in front of us. Its name is Level.
Level is a device developed by vision care company VSP Global in conjunction with the University of Southern California Human Computing Center. The target users are those who usually use Fitbit or Apple Watch. From the appearance, Level and ordinary glasses are basically no different, but its temple part accommodates all the tracking components, and can provide users with motion tracking function in cooperation with the supporting application. It does not impose any additional burden on the user during daily wear.
Unfortunately, Level is currently only a prototype, VSP Global has no plans to push it to the mass market, but the relevant research test results will be announced next year.
