Does NB-IoT technology match the needs of the current smart home market? NB-IoT refers to low power consumption and wide coverage of narrowband Internet of Things. A base station can build 6 sectors, and a sector can build 50,000 nodes. It has super coverage capability and can be widely used in remote meter reading, intelligent parking, intelligent street lights and other fields. Under the 3GPP promotion, the cost of the NB-IoT chip is 5 US dollars. After the manufacturer plans to mass-produce the chip in the future, the price will reach about 1 US dollar. This technology has four major characteristics:

Large-scale applications of NB-IoT technology will appear in 2017. Main applications: intelligent meter reading, intelligent parking, one base station wide coverage in one block, parking position sensor through NB-IoT connection; intelligent street light: wide coverage of base station, intelligent street light and management system direct communication.

NB-IoT technology is mainly for group users, charging for traffic and connection points. In the smart home field, there are some points worth discussing from the business model and connection method: 1. Billing mode, for home users, for each connection Equipment charging, household user acceptance is not high; 2, battery life 10 years is based on long-term sleep of the equipment, wake up once a day, on the basis of operation, smart home equipment is frequently operated, such as sensors, need to consider battery life; When the device is extended, the devices communicate with each other. Control by pressure induction. When a finger touches the screen, the two conductive layers are in contact at the touch point and the resistance changes. A signal is generated in both X and Y directions and transmitted to the touch screen controller. The controller detects the contact and calculates the position of (X, Y), then works according to the simulated mouse mode. Resistive touch screen is not afraid of dust, water and dirt, and can work in harsh environments. But because the outer layer of the composite film is made of plastic material, its anti-explosion property is poor, and its service life is affected to some extent.


The resistive touch screen is controlled by pressure induction. The surface layer is a layer of plastic and the bottom layer is a layer of glass, which can withstand the interference of harsh environmental factors. However, it has poor hand feel and light transmittance, so it is suitable for wearing gloves and occasions that cannot be touched directly by hand.
