Relevant experts believe that the formulation of this standard has a milestone significance in the development of the Internet of Things in China and is the first application standard for the industry in China.

It is reported that China's first draft of the six standards for the first batch of sensor networks has been developed under the framework of a sensor network standard system, based on the needs of industry development and based on the rules of standard formulation and technological development. These six standards provide regulations for the overall functional requirements and architecture of the sensor network. The terms are summarized and summarized based on the terminology of the sensor networks at home and abroad; and the sensing is performed at three levels: mechanical, electrical, and software. The sensor interface in the network proposes specifications, and encode rules for the uniform node code in the sensor network.

The recently released six standards for sensor networks not only indicate that China has its own sensor network standards, but also indicates that the research and development of China's sensor network industry has entered a new stage of development. At the core technology level of the Internet of Things, China is still very scarce. It is understood that the six drafts of the sensor network standards mainly include: "general terms", "terms", "low-speed wireless sensor network layer and application support sublayer technical specifications", "signal interface specification", "general information technology safety specification" , "Identification Sensor Node Coding Specifications."
