In July, China's export of electronic information products slowed down significantly

According to the data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the 29th, affected by factors such as high base and continued deterioration of external demand, China’s exports of electronic information products reached 57.2 billion U.S. dollars in July, a year-on-year decrease of 4.0%, and the growth rate fell 11.1 percentage points from the previous month.

Data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that from January to July, China’s total exports of electronic information products reached US$644.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1.5%. Among them, exports grew by 3.7% year-on-year, and the growth rate was lower than the national foreign trade export by 4.1%. In July, the growth rate of exports of electronic information products continued to slow, falling 11.1 percentage points from the previous month.

Among them, China's export growth to emerging markets is outstanding. From January to July, China’s electronic information products maintained growth in emerging markets such as Thailand, Russia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, and the export value reached 54,50, 36, and 2.7 billion U.S. dollars, up 18.7%, 21.8%, 21.7%, and 27.6% year-on-year respectively. %.

However, exports to the European market remained depressed. From January to July, the export situation of China's electronic information products to European countries further deteriorated. Exports to Germany reached 13.8 billion U.S. dollars, down 10.9% year-on-year; exports to France were 4.6 billion U.S. dollars, down 14.8% year-on-year; exports to Italy were 3.6 billion U.S. dollars, down 42.7% year-on-year.
