The design of PLC control system for slag discharge machine

This article introduces a PLC-based slag discharge control system. There is no need to stop the furnace during the slag removal process. The system can realize automatic ash discharge and ensure the continuous normal operation of the gas generator.

1 Introduction

The hydraulic slag discharger is a device that uses the slag water seal to remove the completely burned coal slag by squeezing out of the furnace. The slag discharge machine is an ideal equipment for discharging ash and slag in the gas production system of fertilizer plants and gas plants. The slag removing machine can make full use of coal resources, and the furnace does not need to be shut down during the slag removal process. It realizes automatic ash discharge, ensures the continuous normal operation of the gas generator, reduces energy consumption, and is convenient for use, maintenance and repair .

The automatic slag removal system uses a new type of automatic slag removal process. This process utilizes the basic principle of water seal pressure maintenance, through a reasonable combination of slag breaker and hydraulic slag discharger, and supplemented by some conveying equipment, it has successfully realized the continuous gas production of the gasifier, and completely solved the slag discharge of the gasifier The gas leakage problem in the process, and the automatic operation of mechanical equipment to replace a large number of laborers in the old slag removal process. At the same time, because the water in the concentrated container is immersed in cold slag, the phenomenon of cooling water leakage is eliminated, and on-site clean production is realized. 2 Control system design of hydraulic slag discharger

2.1 Working principle of hydraulic slag discharger

The initially broken coal slag falls into the squeezing cavity of the hydraulic slag discharge machine. After cooling by water immersion, the pressure head is driven to reciprocate by hydraulic pressure, and the coal slag and water are discharged out of the furnace to achieve continuous slag discharge.

2.2 Electrical control part and interlock settings

(1) Slag breaker

After the slag breaker is started, there are "overload protection" and "automatic restart function". "Overload protection" means that when the slag breaker exceeds the rated load and the motor current exceeds the rated current, the slag breaker will stop running. "Automatic restart function" means that when the motor is overloaded and tripped, with a delay of 3min, the motor will automatically reverse for 8s and then resume normal rotation, thus achieving the automatic restart function. When the slag breaker is started normally, the motor first reverses for 8 seconds and then runs forward. When stopping and repairing the slag breaker, stop the slag breaker, cut off the power supply, and hang the stop sign.

(2) Slag discharge machine

The slag discharger cylinder has a "fault" alarm function. When the slag discharger cylinder stops reciprocating (lifting more than 30s and depressing more than 60s), the alarm light will automatically flash the alarm.

(3) Interlock

The slag discharge machine and the slag breaker are interlocked. When the slag discharger cylinder alarms, the slag breaker automatically stops. At the same time, the slag breaker can only be started when the hydraulic slag discharger is running normally.

2.3 Temperature control water supply device

The temperature control water supplement device is divided into three parts: temperature detection, temperature control and temperature display.

(1) Coal slag temperature detection point is 1 point, and the temperature range is 0 ~ 1300 ℃. When the temperature is lower than the lower temperature limit, the temperature-controlled water-filling ball valve is closed. When the temperature is higher than the upper temperature limit, the temperature-controlled water-filling ball valve opens.

(2) Temperature control settings. Within the set temperature range, the electric ball valve is PID adjusted according to the temperature change.

(3) A temperature control display is provided for displaying coal slag temperature.
