NVIDIA Launches Five Fermi Architecture Quadro Mobile Professional Cards

NVIDIA today released five new Quadro professional graphics cards for the mobile graphics workstation market, all based on Fermi's Fermi architecture.

The five new cards all support DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.1, 30-bit color fidelity (10 bits per color), stereoscopic 3D virtualization, Optimus graphics card switching and other technologies, and the recommended processor platform has also changed from Intel's first generation Calpella. The second generation Huron River (Sandy Bridge).

"Quadro 5010M" positioning ultra-high-end areas, compared to the Quadro 5000M stream processor started more than six months ago increased from 320 to 384, GDDR5 memory capacity doubled from 2GB to 4GB, the bandwidth also increased to 83.2GB/s, the platform size reached 17.3 inches (43.9 cm), maximum power consumption remains 100W.

"Quadro 4000M" and "Quadro 3000M" for high-end market, with 336 and 240 stream processors, 256-bit 2GB GDDR5 memory and 80.0GB/s bandwidth. ECC error checking and double-precision floating-point technology are no longer supported. The maximum power consumption is 100W and 75W, respectively.

"Quadro 2000M" and "Quadro 1000M" are mid-range models, 192 and 96 stream processors, 128-bit 2GB DDR3 memory, bandwidth 28.8GB/s, platform size 15.6 inches (39.6cm), and maximum power consumption of 55W 45W.

Dell, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, etc. will all introduce new mobile graphics workstations for these new cards.
