Inverter air conditioner energy efficiency new standard implementation in June

It is reported that China's new standard for energy efficiency of inverter air conditioners, "speed-controlled room air conditioners, energy efficiency limit value and energy efficiency rating" has been completed and entered the approval stage, will be formally implemented on June 1, 2013. According to the new standard of energy efficiency, the current energy-efficient air-conditioning products of grades 3, 4 and 5 will be delisted in June.

According to industry insiders, the new standard will increase the limit value of the energy efficiency of inverter air conditioners from the current 3.0 to 3.9, that is, the current level 1 and 2 energy efficiency air conditioning levels will be automatically reduced by a level, respectively, into 2 and 3, while new Increase level 1 energy efficiency rating. The market access threshold for air conditioners has been raised from 5 to 3. In other words, the current 3 to 5 energy-efficient air-conditioning will be completely eliminated after the implementation of the new standard in June.

According to reports, in recent years, the air-conditioning market, the energy-saving wind has been quite common, and the proportion of inverter air conditioners has gradually increased, and it has increasingly become the mainstream of the market. An industry source said: "The frequency conversion of new national standards for the adjustment of energy efficiency rating will inevitably lead to further optimization of the frequency conversion product structure, the entire air conditioning industry is also a shuffle, and even accelerate the pace of deregulation of the constant speed machine."
