1 Introduction

Skirt rubber refers to the ability to improve the skirt's anti-stone and rust prevention by applying glue to the skirt of the underbody, and to protect the skirt paint from being damaged by stones. The skirt rubber robot is abbreviated as RPP. The skirt glue can be sprayed by the robot to ensure the consistency of the product, the spraying effect and the production cycle.

2 Analysis of fog glue problem in skirt robot

2.1 Description of the problem

The construction time of the skirt rubber robot of A automobile company's painting workshop was November 2014. The debugging time of the skirt rubber body was February 2015, and the trial production was carried out in April 2015. At the beginning of the product design, the bottom skirt of the vehicle was sprayed. The spraying area covered the fender bracket, the spraying size was 119.922mm*82.42mm; the skirt position was sprayed to the size of 17390.954mm*65.764mm. The spray area does not include the skirt R angle. Due to the reliability test feedback of the pre-production product, the skirt position has the wear of the inner panel seal strip and the R angle of the skirt, resulting in the lacquer on the R corner of the skirt, and there is rust. Risk, solid need to increase the coating process at the R corner of the skirt, thus avoiding the rust of the skirt caused by the wear of the sealing strip and the paint surface.

2.2 Body coating quality risk

The angle between the robot spray gun and the body is 110° before the skirt is added. The spray effect completely covers the skirt position of the body, and there is no quality problem or fog problem.

After the increase of the R angle, the body skirt, the inner panel of the door, and the fog of the bottom of the vehicle appear. The grinding line of the painting workshop is required to polish the fog particles of the body skirt. The problem rate is 100%, and the workshop needs to stop. The problem of batch processing of the skirt rubber mist glue caused the workshop to complain; some rubber mist contaminated the bottom mounting holes and the projection welding bolts, which made assembly assembly difficult, resulting in unsatisfactory production cycle.

2.3 Problem Analysis

2.3.1 Analysis of the coating process of the skirt coating

The skirt rubber spray material was analyzed. The skirt rubber used in the field was supplied by an imported German company. The colloidal viscosity was 40-75Pa·S, the solid content was ≥90%, the density was 1.2-1.4g/cm3, and the fineness was ≤50μm. The parameters of the glue meet the spraying requirements, so it is excluded that the quality of the coating is affected by the change of the rubber material itself.

2.3.2 Analysis of the glue supply system for the skirt

The operation of the skirt rubber pipeline is analyzed. The skirt rubber supply system is a centralized glue supply system. The first-stage glue pump is used for the robot to meet the pressure of the site. The glue pump is a GRACO65:1 pneumatic pump. It is equipped with a spare pump and a pump frequency detection switch. When the pump frequency reaches 20 times in one minute, it will automatically stop, preventing the pump from pumping air into the pipeline. In the trial production stage, the gun is blocked during the spraying process of the skirt rubber robot, which results in poor spray atomization during the spraying process, the spray fan is not opened, and the glue pressure is large. After disassembling the filter of the glue supply system, it was found that the 60-mesh filter contained more impurities. The filter is cleaned on site, and the phenomenon of blocking the gun is obviously reduced, but there is still risk. Therefore, the filter core of the on-site rubber supply line is changed from 60 mesh to 100 mesh, and the filter and 100 mesh filter are added at the inlet of the robot pipeline. core. The phenomenon of blocking the gun is completely solved, effectively solving the fog glue caused by the spray atomization effect caused by the blocking gun and the gun outlet pressure is large, but there is still glue mist on the R corner of the body skirt position, and the shearing effect is not flush. . Therefore, the problem of fogging and shearing unevenness caused by the glue supply system is also excluded.
