August 4, 2010 news: In order to release flight information in a timely manner, especially in the event of flight delays, passengers can quickly understand the flight dynamics, avoiding incidents such as passengers’ missed opportunities due to delayed or inaccurate information release. Recently, the ground service department has standardized the content of LED display content, aiming to further improve the flight information notification service and improve the quality of ground service.

The first is to clarify the responsible units of management. The ground service department issued a business notice, clearly stipulating that the travel service center is responsible for managing the LED display; when the flight is normal, and there are a small number of flight delays, the FCS management point personnel of the check-in project are responsible for managing the LED display; the flight occurs. When a large area is not normal, the duty officer on the day of the travel service center is responsible for managing the LED display.

The second is to develop rules for the use of LED screens. When the flight is normal, the LED display shows the passenger's "warm reminder". If the checked baggage is not allowed to carry flammable or explosive materials, the portable baggage must not contain more than 100 ml of liquid items in one piece. 30 minutes before the flight departure (Tibet flight 40 minutes before departure, the check-in procedure will be stopped. When the flight delay occurs, the travel service center will announce the flight delay information on the LED display according to the flight delay reason and delay time issued by the dispatching room in the FCS system.

The third is to regulate the release of abnormal information. When the flight is not normal, in order to provide passengers with standardized and accurate flight information, the ground service department regulates the display content of the LED display. The information includes: apology, flight delays, follow-up arrangements, and contact numbers; if the flight information changes, the FCS management personnel will update the information within 5 minutes after receiving the information.

After the LED display screen of the domestic departure hall is put into use, it not only greatly relieves the pressure of on-site interpretation service, but also plays an important role in passengers' flight reminder and information notification, especially in the recent large-scale flight delay caused by thunderstorm and rain weather. Significantly, it has been unanimously recognized by passengers.
